Van Staal VSB X2 Bailed Spinning Reels are new for 2022! Van Staal took in all the feedback from the original X-SERIES and made what is an already great series even better! The new VSB X2 features a unibody construction making what was already the best sealed reel on the market even more corrosion and fail proof! Removing screws from the sideplate seems like a no-brainer in hindsight. They also lengthened the reel stem to accommodate larger hands. Gone are the days of having your knuckles busted while fighting a big fish at night! Anglers didn’t like the back movement in the spool so Van Staal repositioned the instant anti-reverse and now the back play is a thing of the past. These reels come standard with the popular PowerGrip handle knob and drag knobs. To accommodate braided lines and how anglers are fishing smaller gear, Van Staal has changed this series up. The new addition is the 50 size while the 150 and 200 sizes remain. The larger reels are gone. The focus has been on increasing the inches per turn of the handle. This allows you to retrieve lures and baits at a faster pace and reduces fatigue. Van Staal VSB X2 Bailed Spinning Reels are constructed of aluminum with stainless steel gears and titanium parts for incredible strength and performance.
